Aelric

Elf / Druid

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Aelric reads the stars the way most druids read trees. He's Circle of Stars, which means his magic comes from the sky and the patterns in it. He carries a scroll of constellations everywhere he goes because sometimes the answer to a problem is up there and you just have to know where to look. His f

Ailuin, Archmage of Arcane Runes & Sigil Studies

Astral Elf / Wizard

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Ailuin remembers a city that no one else believes existed. Agrim. A flying city of mages, suspended above a world that has since forgotten it entirely. He grew up there. Studied there. Founded an entire school of magic there. Graviturgy. The study of weight and pull and the invisible architecture t

Alexandra "Axe" Moxley

Human / Paladin

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Alex was a firefighter before she got isekai'd. That's the pitch. That's what I brought to session zero and my DM just said 'yes' immediately. She woke up on a planet with two suns and a debris ring in the sky and no idea how she got there. No portal explanation. No summoning ritual. Just gone from

Allagis

Primordial Concept / Rogue

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Allagis is the living personification of the pain and torture carried out throughout the ages. As old as she is powerful, she revels in the fun of torture, finding pleasure in the pain of others. Her voice is wispy and echoes or can become as loud as a dragon's roar to the point of ear-splitting pai

Annabelle Ludwig

Celestial / Paladin

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Annie killed a god and ate him, then she hunted mages for years, lost her right eye to a cursed blade, broke her nose in a fight she barely survived, and then when the God of Darkness came for her she put him down and consumed his power whole. Now she's got black raven wings and a bastard sword wit

Asharrad Theu'ban

Yuan-ti Pureblood / Warlock

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Ash was trained as an assassin, before an accident cost him his life. Almost. In a single moment, the long slumbering God Merrshaulk, spoke to him, offering him the choice, die forgotten, or be remembered as the Moonborn. Rising in the shadows, his hands illuminated in crackling viridian, as the fir

Belfyre (Bel)

Tiefling / Paladin

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Bel spent most of his life snapping off his own horns and filing down the stubs so nobody would know what he was. He's a Tiefling Devotion Paladin which sounds like a contradiction and honestly some days it feels like one to him too. He's 25. He's tired. He looks at the rest of the party doing incr

Calyx Draven

Stygian Elf (essentially a tiefling) / Sorcerer

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Seemingly abandoned at birth, he never knew his parents, raised by the streets and his wild magic. He discovered a cloak owned by his father with his mother's journal inside. He found that he wasn't abandoned, he was hidden, protected, because he was the vessel for the seals of magic. He was there p

Cassair Vhessar Aelstaad-Calland

Aasimar / Shadow Sorcerer/ Great Old One Warlock

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

In his dreams, he finds a sea of stars dotted across an endless inky dark that threatens to swallow him. The flickers of light begin to spin and twist, causing vibrant colors to radiate from their celestial waltz. The colors wash over his skin like ocean waves. Cold and warm, light and dark, everyth

Cinder

Dragon / Monk

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Cinder was the first true dragon born since the Ascension Era. Her egg was kept safe for hundreds of years by Paldronog, the Golden Dragongod until the moment arrived for her to hatch. During this critical moment, Gee Embas, "The Righteous," proved himself worthy of being her caretaker. Though Cind

Cinder Foxwell

Goliath / Fighter

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Cinder Foxwell wears his family's helm even when he sleeps. It hides the green light in his eyes and the corrupted markings under his skin. The cracked plate does a poor job of hiding the rest. Plants wilt where he lingers, animals refuse his hand, and shadows sometimes turn before he does. He was

Vampire / Fighter

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Son of the lesser-known third of Vecna’s empire, Vallus the Dreadwrought, Constantine lived most of his life on the move. Dreamerya

Tiefling / Druid

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Dreamerya was a gentle child in a village that could only see a demon's daughter. She left for the deep forest and became the thing they warned their children about. Intruders vanished. The trees around her sanctuary grew strong. People still came to ask for wishes or offer a bargain, and some of th

Dylora

Drow / BBEG

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Dylora is the villain of my campaign and I commissioned this portrait specifically to scare my players with it. It worked. She's an older Drow woman. Gold eyes. White hair that's been unnaturally lengthened by the same magic that powers everything about her. Blue and pink arcane thread runs through

Ember

Warforged / Cleric

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

Ember was supposed to be a simple backup character I rolled in twenty minutes. Then session one happened and she just... took over the table. She's this bubbly Aasimar forge cleric who lost her left arm in a fight she absolutely should not have survived. But instead of slowing down, she built hersel

Ford

Human / Fighter

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

This is my friend Ford's character. I'm submitting this for him. Ford built his PC the way he built everything. With way too much thought and zero hesitation once he decided. He loved Berserk and his character was basically Guts if Guts grew up in the slums of a fantasy city instead of a mercenary

Franzer Halvess

Gnome / Swashbuckler

Jan's favourite. FF portrait (submitter-confirmed).

A gnome's gnome. Franzer Halvess is all three Musketeers - plus D'Artagnan - rolled into one three-foot-something package (who can tell for sure with that hat). Immaculate, libertine, dangerous. He knows the thing you don't. "All real fights are dirty fights, but not all fights are real fights." B
