Fenric Ronan Stormborn

Genasi / Fighter

Submitted character story

Captain Fenric Ronan Stormborn is a Water Genasi pirate, the captain of the Widow's Wake, and the Bound of the Sea Mother. Known across the seas as the Laughing Tempest, the Devil of Blackwater Bay, and the Undrowned, Fenric leads with equal parts courage, compassion, and reckless optimism. Though blessed with the power of storms and the sea, his true strength lies in the connections he forges and the unwavering belief that no one should be left behind.
His defining moment came when he challenged the ancient Archetype known as the Shadow. Realizing victory would cost the lives of his companions, Fenric laid down his pride and surrendered. The Shadow marked him with a scar across his throat and bound him to an eternal debt, but Fenric accepted the burden so that those he loved could live. To him, a captain's duty is not to win every battle, but to ensure his crew has the chance to sail another day.
