"story": "This is my friend Ford's character. I'm submitting this for him.\n\nFord built his PC the way he built everything. With way too much thought and zero hesitation once he decided. He loved Berserk and his character was basically Guts if Guts grew up in the slums of a fantasy city instead of a mercenary camp. Orphan kid, adopted by good people, lost them to a fire set by a clan that wanted him dead. Figured out anyone who loved him became a target. So he stopped letting people close and started training to tear the whole clan apart from the inside.\n\nHe had a mechanical arm. Scars everywhere but no blood because Ford always said his character was too strong to bleed. Both eyes open because Ford thought the eyepatch was cool but liked his character better with both. Same dark armor, same greatsword, same bandaged off hand. He played this character for over a year and never once broke from who this guy was at the table.\n\nThe portrait was a gift. I commissioned it because Ford put more of himself into this character than he'd probably admit. The curly hair is Ford's actual hair. The face is based on reference photos of him. The expression, that quiet intensity looking down at the sword, that's Ford. Not the character. Ford.\n\nHe was very creative with making his character lol. I just wanted to make sure people got to see what he made."
