Being riverborn, Zinnia was born in a typical dragonkin settlement near water and could swim practically from birth. She can also glide short distances with her wings. At a young age, too young to remember when, Corruption started taking over the land. The resulting war was brutal and eventually lost. Knowing that her inborn magic, appearing as glowing runes on her body, would be sought by the Corruption, her parents made the difficult decision to hand her to the Fey Wilds in order to protect her. They were taken over shortly afterward. Now, as an adult, two evil entities seek her out to use her magic to fuel their own purposes. Originally joining the party as a means of protection, she eventually grows to care for them as family instead of just as a means of self preservation.
Growing up as Feylost has caused the quirk that her eyes appear to be iridescent and change color based on her mood, usually gold or purple. Her personality is as bubbly as her breath weapon. Like the rest of her kind, she is extremely fond of jokes and puns and she almost always looks like she is either laughing at the latest one she pulled or coming up with a new one. Armed with markers, she can and will draw on the faces of passed out friends as often as foes. Friends are treated to nice drawings of flowers and other pretty things, foes get plastered with insults. Anyone she feels neutral towards gets random scribbles. However, anyone caught harming animals or children will quickly see the perpetual goofball turn into raging fury before she attacks them with her dagger. Her other favorite tool is glitter.
Her clothing reflects her time in the Wilds, looking like leaves and flower petals. Currently without an animal companion, she carries an egg that no one knows what will hatch from it. However, she is often visited by Fey creatures.
