Tiefling / Monk

Submitted character story
Defining moment:
The day she was cast out of the Last Companions (the monastery and order her parents had sent her to so that she could be 'fixed') as an exile on obviously false charges, she felt the sting of betrayal linked to fear and suspicion for the second time, all due to something she couldn't control- her abyssal tiefling heritage. However, though she had every right to feel despondent, a quiet determination filled her spirit, buoyed by the way her mentor, Einar, and the other monks who accepted her for who she was had fiercely defended her against the trumped up charges brought against her by the town nearest the monastery after a merchant caravan was burned and slaughtered by the roadside. She would carry her warrior's resolve and her healing mercy with her, proving that power can be tempered by compassion and fighting against those who would condemn what they do not comprehend and advocating for those who are suffering from injustice.
