    "story": "so wynter started as a joke name because our dm said the campaign takes place in icewind dale and i showed up session one with a blue tiefling bard named Winter and everyone groaned. i regret nothing.\n\nshes a gloom stalker which means shes invisible in darkness to anything relying on darkvision. blue skin, white hair, red eyes, full winter gear. she basically disappears into a snowstorm. our dm hates it. i bring it up constantly.\n\nthe actual backstory i gave my dm was pretty simple. she grew up in ten towns, one of the only tieflings around, which meant people either treated her like a freak or pretended she didnt exist. so she just. left. went into the tundra alone at like 16 and taught herself to survive. came back a few years later when things started getting bad with the endless night and the town that used to ignore her suddenly needed someone who could track through a blizzard without dying.\n\ntheres a whole thing with her and the party where she does not trust people and everyone keeps trying to be her friend and she keeps being weird about it. our ranger gave her a scarf once and she didn't say thank you for three sessions. then she wore it every session after that without ever acknowledging it. the ranger's player screenshotted my character sheet when they noticed id added it to my equipment and posted it in our discord. i got roasted for like two days.\n\nshes not a talker. when she does talk its short and usually mean and occasionally really accidentally funny. last session an npc asked her what she was fighting for and she said 'warm food' and walked away. our dm had this whole dramatic moment planned and i just. torpedoed it. he was so mad lmao\n\ni have two versions of the portrait because i couldnt decide. first one is softer and the second one is more how she actually looks when youve annoyed her which is most of the time"
