The hero who wasn't supposed to be. This druid was a quick NPC sidekick that I created for the teen group that I DM'ed for at the local teen game club. They had failed to make a healer and had just run out of potions in a place where shops didn't exist. Enter Wope, a charming, warm hearted Firbolg that just happened to be in this random place and had briefly known one of the characters in the past. 

He said he could travel with them for awhile, but the party never let go. Wope quickly became the party dad that all the party loved. The one that stopped disputes with merely his presence, and the most trusted ally within the group that became known as the Reincarnate. He tried to leave at the next place where the party could find potions but they would not allow it. They even stopped their search for the lost city of Gyrvalia to find a way to revive Wope when he sacrificed himself to free the party from a trap that had been masterminded by their rival. 

Together with the Reincarnate, he found the lost city, cared for the local forest, and stopped the return of an ancient entity that wished to plunge the world into eternal silence, and he did it all with a warm smile and a hug for anyone who needed it at the time.
