"story": "You are a hero who trusts the Blackfen and the Shadow Investigator because secrecy kept you alive. The heartbreak that nearly consumed you taught you patience, the kind that outlasts kingdoms. Every bell you ring is a reminder that beauty can be weaponized, and you've never fully forgiven yourself for learning that lesson so well. Tables will remember you as the bard who refused to perform unless the song mattered.\n\nDefining moment: As a young girl, Winnow was sold from her home on a small farm to preform as singing entertainment at the local tavern, then later sold from the tavern to preform at a high elven house of nobility. She was dressed in fine clothing and provided with teachers both magical and practical; the former, Eridan, she fell in love with. He was at the house of nobility undercover, searching for secrets, posing as teacher. Observing Winnow’s ability to manipulate with song, he began steering her lessons in a different direction, one that aligned more closely with his organization’s goal of altering history from the inside out. Invent a scandal, ensure it happens when the right people are watching, that sort of thing. Before Winnow could learn more about him, Eridan was attacked on their wedding night, his identity revealed. The two escaped to a shack in the nearby swamp, when Eridan succumbed to his injuries. The pain of heartbreak left Winnow wandering the swamps in a mental state that left her halfway to becoming a banshee for a hundred years, the swamp earning a reputation for being haunted by a witch. Once she regained her senses, she attempted to make a living for herself as an herbalist, not knowing she was the source of her own isolation in the swamp.\n\nAlready paid the price"
