"story": "You are a Bold Hero, the kind who takes the King's Road because accountability matters more than shortcuts. What you remembered was a frail body going cold because you were too focused on your own survival. You carry the weight of every person you can't reach in time, every fight that pulls your attention one direction while someone suffers in another. They'll remember you as the standard that rallies the broken, the blade that kneels.\n\nDefining moment: I had a younger brother, Alexei. He was frail, sickly. Didn't fit in with the warrior ethos of the tribe. However, he was insanely smart. Quick-witted, able to talk himself - or me - out of any trouble we might have gotten ourselves into with our parents or the tribe leaders. And he had a penchant for magic unlike any of our tribe had demonstrated for generations. But for some reason, he looked up to me like a hero. I loved him, sure, but I didn't go out of my way to have his back like he always had mine. \n\nOne night, a rival tribe attacked our village. I was an above-average warrior at the time, and in my arrogance, I got myself in a tough spot fighting two of the attackers at once. Alexei came sprinting around a nearby corner, fleeing another attacker when he saw I was in trouble. He stopped, cast a spell that distracted both of my opponents long enough for me to cut one down and focus my attention on the other. Then, I heard my brother cry out. Focused on my own fight, I didn't even look in his direction. I was able to defeat my second attacker, but by the time I turned back to Alexei, he was face-down on the ground, a pool of blood spreading from underneath his body. I heard footsteps rushing off down the path towards the sound of continuing fighting.\n\nI rushed over to Alexei and rolled up him so he could see me. His eyes were already turning glassy, his skin drained of what little color we normally have, clammy and slick with sweat. He whispered, \"This was worth it for me. Please make it worth it for you. I love you, brother.\" \n\nI will never know if he heard my promise in return, but I live by it to this day: \"I will NEVER allow the weak to be sacrificed for the strong, so long as I can help it.\"\n\nI trained. I traveled. I learned. I honed myself into a weapon of strength, precision, and discipline so that I could make good on that promise. \n\nRunning from something"
