Elf / Druid

Submitted character story
You are the druid who treats survival like a debt she cannot forgive herself for paying. You chose Old Yost's cart and the Shadow Investigator's path because you understand that watching comes before healing, that patience outlasts panic. The memory of your family shrouded in gray, still breathing when you left, is the wound that never closes. Every stranger you save is an apology to the ones you could not carry with you, and the helping never stops because the guilt never does. They will remember you as the hero who saved everyone but herself, and wonder why you flinch when they say thank you.
Defining moment: The grove you grew up in knew no evil. That is until the day of your 17th birthday. You woke to the trees shrouded in shadow. The once lush life that littered the branches now scattered along the forest floor. Leaves of brown and veins gray. The blight that clouded your grove had no clear origin. Days passed and the blight thickened, stretching from the trees into the lungs of the vulnerable. To everyone… except you. With the hope of your grove shrinking you set out to find a cure or maybe to escape the fate that you watched consume your home… your family. With your me glance back to your family, a shadow of what they once were, you left the grove, taking any flicker of life with you.
Can't stop helping strangers
