Velistra has very little patience for people who confuse being polite with being in charge. She keeps her chin up, her glaive close, and her opinions to herself until someone makes that impossible.

She left the household that gave her the long scar down her neck. Now she takes escort work on the surface, where a black umbrella is almost as useful as a black blade. Her hair reaches her knees, her rings click against the glaive, and the purple cloak has been repaired more times than she will admit.

The useful thing about her is that she keeps an agreement. Offer a fair contract and she will stand between you and danger without making a speech about it. Try to own her because you paid her and you will have a much shorter conversation. I would play her pride as something the party can challenge, not an excuse to be cruel to them.
