Submitted character story
You are the rogue who learned strategy the hard way, choosing patience over impulse with the Iron Matron. The moment that brought you back was watching someone die for your crime, for your hand. That old paladin's dagger sits in your boot because you still believe in the inscription, even when honor cuts deeper than any blade you've bought since. You'll be remembered as the one who never wasted a life at the table, who treated every choice like someone else might pay for it.
Defining moment: The day his father tried to kill his brother and him in a drunken rage. It was the day he shot his father in the back of the throat with his crossbow. The day they tried to run from the guards, the day his older brother shot two guards with that crossbow to save Tylathiel from capture before taking a bolt from the sergeant. They dragged his brother to the scourging post while Tylathiel watched, hidden in a a wicker basket. His brother told the sergeant *he* killed their father, not Tylathiel... and they executed him on the spot, Tyl's scream frozen in terror...
