Human / Bard

Submitted character story

You're the Shadow Investigator who knows that answers matter more than comfort or convenience. What brought you back wasn't redemption through solitude, but the party who stayed when you finally wanted them to hear you. You still feel the phantom weight of every lie you couldn't help but speak. Your table will remember you as the bard who helps strangers because she knows exactly what it costs to need help and receive none.

Defining moment: Obsessed with getting revenge on the more powerful noble family who had destroyed and disgraced hers, Triss became a spy and made some bad calls. She got cursed with a blood curse that caused her to only be able to tell lies. For five years, she lived unable to tell a single truth, until she met a party she actually wanted to tell the truth to. They helped her get free of the curse; she fell in love; and she realized that others could stick by her side and love her too.

Can't stop helping strangers
