Paragon was created by Ritus to guide and protect mortalkind, but after a disastrous act of unilateral “salvation,” he was ordered to withdraw and observe. When Ritus vanished before returning, Paragon spent tens of thousands of years trapped in his god's demiplane watching civilizations rise, suffer, and collapse. Over time, he came to believe that restraint had been his greatest failure and that preventing suffering justified taking control of the future. Now he seeks to impose a perfectly ordered world, convinced that doing so will finally prove he understood his creator.
