"story": "Darkness. All encompassing. No matter where you turn, it is an empty blackness you can’t penetrate, even with your darkvision. Yet, still you attempt to for what seems like hours, yet is merely moments. Suddenly, a whisper in the dark. You whirl around looking for the source. Nothing. You hear it again. And again, you spin to catch the source. Again, as always, nothing. You strain your hearing to pick it out once more. After a few seconds, you can make out a name in the whisper. It’s a woman’s voice, faint; just a vapor on the wind. The name whispered is yours, “Talon”. Then nothing. It is the deathly quiet after a battlefield massacre. Once again, you are alone, blind. Suddenly, a set of glowing red eyes flashes out of the nothing, directly in front of your face, then they’re gone! Was it my imagination? Am I going insane? The hairs on your neck stand on end; you sense something! But it’s too late. You feel a sharp pain through your chest, a fire spreading outward. You look down at the blade sticking out through your chest, shocked at this turn of events. Then, as quickly as it started, the warmth stops. All you feel now is a coldness seeping through your body… and that voice is back. As your vision fades to darkness, the maddening cacophony of her laughter fills your ears and mind; for some reason, you think of the sounds of crows... This is the point where you jerk awake in a cold sweat. Almost every night this dream comes, yet you don’t know why. Is a lost memory, hidden away in the deep recesses of your mind? Or is it a warning of something to come?"
