Stendahl Teague

Human / Inventor/Gunslinger

Submitted character story

Stendahl Teague was born with a mind unlike any other. Afflicted with savant syndrome, he struggles to understand people, yet possesses an extraordinary talent for engineering, mathematics, and arcane mechanics. To him, every lock has a solution, every machine follows a pattern, and every firearm is a masterpiece waiting to be perfected.

Once celebrated as a prodigy of the Valerian Theocracy, Stendahl’s relentless pursuit of knowledge led him to create inventions that challenged the Church’s control over magic. Branded a heretic and outlaw after refusing to abandon his research, he fled into the wider world where his reputation as a brilliant gunslinger and inventor continues to grow.

During his travels, Stendahl recovered a mysterious infernal coin that serves as the prison of an ancient devil. Rather than becoming its victim, he formed an unlikely alliance with the fiend, whose knowledge of the planes has become an invaluable, if often sarcastic, source of guidance. Now hunted by the Theocracy and pursued by those who covet his inventions, Stendahl seeks forgotten knowledge and lost technologies, convinced that understanding the world is worth any price.
