Drow / Cleric

Submitted character story
You are a cleric who pays what things cost and does not flinch at transactions that need to happen. You read a room by asking the right person which silence matters most right now. The bookie taught you that some debts are worth collecting even when you cannot win alone, and you still take what strangers offer when your gut says the odds are about to turn. You finished what mattered with help you could not name and did not pretend otherwise. Tables remember the healer who shows up for people they just met and does not keep score.
Defining moment: After her brother returned home bloody and bruised, Riss headed to the tavern where the bookie frequented. Her goal was to lure him into a quiet spot where she could either reason with him or force him to forgive her brother’s debts. Unfortunately, the bookie brought four cronies with him, and suggested other ways Riss could pay her brother’s debt. The fight began, and though she held her own for much longer than they expected, she was outnumbered. Had the town guards not heard the commotion and stepped in, Riss isn’t sure what would have happened to her.
