Riji

Kitsune / Rogue

Submitted character story

Riji and his partner Adagio were raised in the same orphanage until around 17 when they felt the need to strike out on their own. No sooner had they attempted their first, only partially successful venture into the larger world than a crisis at the orphanage and missing children drew them back for their first true adventure.

Riji and Adagio got caught up in a major, centuries-old and twisting conflict between the wolf and crow gods. An ancient betrayal, generations of misunderstanding and manipulation, a conspiracy of vampires and a vengeful Lich. Additional companions joined them and through the unification of squabbling factions and healing of old wounds, ancient damage was repaired, and the Lich defeated.

Riji has come to understand that most stories have more than one - sometimes many sides, and truth is not always one or the other or even between them. Seeking the true stories - and helping to make their endings good, or at least fun - has become his calling.
