Defining moment:
The Aasimar found Revelry around midnight. Revelry had awakened to find himself barefoot, at the edge of a cliff, with no memory of how he had gotten there. They had approached slowly, talking to him in a way that Revelry later realized had been because the Aasimar thought he was about to jump. The Aasimar's name was Seren, and the two of them talked for some time; Revelry thought he was the most beautiful person he had ever seen, and found himself wanting to spend more time with Seren. The Aasimar eventually relented, and as time passed, the two of them spent more and more time together; and the more time they spent together, the closer they became, gradually falling in love. Seren gave Revelry a pendant from a marketplace, the evening they finally exchanged the 'love' word. Then... Seren was gone. There was no letter, no goodbye, nothing at all: all Revelry had was the pendant and the memories. He didn't know what had happened: whether the Aasimar had died, or never truly loved him to begin with, or had simply grown bored, or been taken away by his deva guide, who had been displeased with their relationship. Revelry never takes the pendant off; has never stopped wondering whether the Aasimar disappearing was his fault, whether Seren was still alive. But whenever Revelry is in his darkest moments, it's the memory of Seren's face - gentle, smiling, as he gives Revelry the pendant - that brings the Tiefling back from the precipice.
