Raggna Dysdair

Submitted character story

Archetype: The Sovereign Hunger – She walks the edge where curiosity meets defiance, and neither bows first. "You are a Shadow Investigator, the kind of hero who finds the truth in the places others avoid. What brought you back was learning you were never meant to belong to anyone, not even those who claimed to create you. You carry the weight of knowing that freedom and loneliness are often the same bargain. Your table will remember the sorcerer who laughed in the dark and meant it."

Raggna is from an occultist community. She already bargained hard for adventure beyond its borders. When she returned to report her findings, and ask to return, she was met with denial. But she was steadfast in her search for knowledge. The community leader, Mother Wrathveil, cast a powerful debilitating spell to remind Raggna who was in charge. It nearly killed her, revealing the intentions of those in power. This moment ruined her perception of home, returning to the village she saved to continue her ambitious search for eldritch answers. At her lowest moment, after agreeing to risk her life for an experiment, a Fate Hag appeared and told her the truth. Raggna was certainly unique, and more so then her people let on. She was originally meant to be a weapon for Mother Wrathveil to use against those who defied her. But the Fate Hag being her real "mother" twisted the results to maintain Raggna's independence. She knew now that she could no longer yield to those she deemed superior. She had the power to take charge and grow. So, she would.
