"story": "You're a ranger who trusts preparation over impulse, the kind who rode Old Yost's Cart and chose The Quiet Strategist when it mattered. What brought you back wasn't revenge but the memory of your Pappy's final breath and every life you couldn't save. You still scan treelines for smoke, still wake reaching for your bow, still wonder if being fast enough now makes up for the day you weren't. Tables will remember you as the one who saw danger coming and stood between it and everyone else.\n\nDefining moment: Pippi was only twenty-three when she lost it all.... She grew up in a small, close-knit gnomish village within the Dalelands, where she was raised by her mother \"mama\", her father \"papa\", and her paternal grandfather \"pappy\". Pippi was the closest with her Pappy, who was the village's master ranger and who she learned everything about the forest from. As she began gaining more responsibility and prepared to take on the role of master ranger for herself, Pippi was tasked with more solo missions. One particular day when out hunting alone, Pippi returned home to complete devastation - the village had been raided by an band of goblins who left nothing but fire and ash in their wake. Every tree home was up in flames, smoke billowed from the burrows below. Panicked, Pippi ran to her own burning home, forcing her way inside to a scene that would haunt her for the rest of her days. There laid her mother and father, having already taken their last breaths, alongside her fox familiar, Kit, who had only been left behind on account of still being so young. Her grandfather choked against the smoke in his lungs, and Pippi pulled him from the home only to spend his final moments with him. Any survivors had already fled, or - as Pippi feared - been possibly captured. She was alone as the rest of the village burned around her. With nothing left to do but leave, Pippi gathered a few keepsakes. She removed a worn handkerchief from her Pappy's pocket and tied everything inside - a piece of charred wood from their home tree, an acorn, a tuft of orange fur from Kit, an arrowhead, and a worn leather bracelet from her mother's wrist. Heartbroken and emotionally drained, Pippi left all that she knew behind and didn't look back, knowing the pain would be too much to bear. \n\nCan't stop helping strangers"
