Fishfolk / Druid

Submitted character story
You are a protector who chose the Blackfen because some borders demand patience, not valor. The Heart of the Sea shattered your old life and gave you a new form, a new purpose, and a burden no child should carry. You already paid the price before most adventurers even roll their first character, and that weight shapes every choice you make at the table. Your druid isn't learning to protect nature, they're spending a lifetime repaying the god who saved them and hiding the civilization they left behind.
Defining moment: I was but a child when we were taken to the Museum of Azuria. Unknown to me, the Heart of the Sea waited for this moment. It was time for the hand of Tempestalis to take part in the story. There, I found the exhibit. It had a plaque that explained what this stone was, the belief that the God of sea and tempest had once used it to create all sea life. No one really believed it, but I could feel it reach out to me. Only when the glass shattered and a sharp pain overtook my face like a horse kick to the nose, did the guards and passerby point and say "The Prince is wounded! What has happened?" The alarm rang and I was awoken. I stumbled to my feet as the guards closed in. What was happening? I received mental information in an instant. RUN. And found myself escaping the city, swimming to the surface. I passed out and floated to the top.. And realized the stone had changed my form to something.. Human. A land dweller. I was disguised, and taken in by a fishing vessel. I didn't know where life would take me from there, but I knew I needed to keep the secret of the undersea city.
