Novik wasn't sure if he was supposed to live or die ... but live he did. Torn from his home world by a hooded figure, Novik lost everything. His memories. His home. Even his own name. He had lost it all, until one fateful night brought him to the silver scales of something so rare, no one ever believed him - A Dragon.

Zerghan had taken pity upon the young Genasi, only to later realize that this was, in fact, his very own flesh and blood - his son. Novik never knew. A quest to relearn who he is, and what he is becoming, was born. From the lands of the Elemental Isles to the mortal realm of Telatria itself, Novik wandered far and wide to search for the mentor, the only family, he had known and loved.

Zerghan had left to keep Novik safe after years spent together. The hooded figure had never stopped hunting for Novik, after all, for a purpose only known to that figure. During this time, Novik eventually found his new family, people who came from all walks of life and were part of various courts and distant lands, people who he now guards jealously like a dragon does its treasure hoard.

Novik, eventually, realized just who's son he was - the son of the Silver Dragon, Zerghan. Now on a journey to right many wrongs, even to himself, Novik walks the line between Giants and Dragons, all in the search for who he truly is deep down. But he is never alone. Novik always has his faithful wolf-dog, Socks, with him, and his friends by his side.

(Novik has long since been a concept in the making. He is my absolute baby boy, and a royal powerhouse as he is not just a Gloomstalker Ranger, but a Champion Fighter/Assassin Rogue, as well.)
