"story": "Nora is a second generation character. Her parents were PCs from two different campaigns my group ran back to back and when we started a new one our DM said we could set it in the same universe, same timeline, just years later. I looked at the party and said what if I played their kid. And here we are.\n\nHer mom is a 7 foot tall Leonid. Her dad is a Khjask, homebrew race, 6'6. Nora landed right at her father's height, all lean muscle, feline build, moves like something that grew up climbing trees and wrestling things bigger than her. Because she did. She was raised on a nature planet by two campaigns worth of adventurers who all had wildly different ideas about how to raise a child. One taught her tracking. Another taught her how to read planar magic. Another just taught her how to hit things really hard. The forest was her playground and gargantuan creatures were her babysitters. She has no fear because nobody ever told her she was supposed to have any.\n\nThe tiger stripe markings down her arms come from her mother's side. The feline slit pupils and the tail come from there too, black fur with silver striping that matches her hair. Her hair is buzzed on both sides, long and wild on top, black with silver streaks running through it. She has a blade scar across the bridge of her nose from a fight she won't shut up about and silver piercings all over her ears including an industrial bar and a cuff.\n\nShe wears fur and leather armor that looks like what you'd get if Forsworn armor from Skyrim had a baby with the Savior's Hide. Black and brown leather with red accents, grey and white fur on the shoulders. A studded choker around her neck with a little dragon charm that's enchanted to come alive. It flies around and breathes a tiny flame like a lighter. It's not sentient. She talks to it anyway.\n\nHer parents helped defeat Nicol Bolas. That's the family legacy she grew up hearing about at the dinner table. Most kids get told stories about knights and princesses. Nora got told stories about planeswalking across the multiverse to kill a god dragon. No wonder she turned out like this.\n\nShe's chaos. Pure undiluted chaos with a confident smirk and pointed nails and a druid staff that has a hidden blade inside for when things get close. She wild shapes into the biggest thing available and charges in first every single time. Our party stopped trying to plan around her about three sessions in. Now they just wait for the roar and follow it.\n\nShe's my favorite character I've ever built because she's joyful. Not in a naive way. In an earned way. She was raised by people who loved her, in a place that loved her, and she walks into every fight like the forest is at her back. Because it is."
