Neifestra: "The Storm Mother"

Archfey / NPC

Submitted character story

Neifestra is an archfey, around 8,000 years old (if time means anything to such a being), and is the physical embodiment of the chaos of the natural world. Having grown tired of life in the Feywild, Neifestra decided to pay more regular visits to the material plane, opening up a magical thrift store, where items of questionable usefulness can be acquired... if the price is willing to be paid.

The original intention for Neifestra was that the party were going to stumble into her shop during a shopping episode, maybe pick up a curious item or two, and then leave, never to see her again. Players, however, will always be players! By the time they had left, one PC had already traded away their soul, and within 3 more sessions, the rest of the party had followed suit.
Now, Neifestra appears to the party every now and then in the manner of Q from Star Trek - sometimes with a job for her "investments", and sometimes just to torment the party for her own amusement.
Needless to say, a whole new (previously unplanned) story arc is now in the works, in which the party must free their souls from a completely avoidable situation!
