Myrin volunteered to become an immortal shapechanger so she could protect her homeland. Earthfall destroyed it anyway. She woke among the ruins and started gathering the souls of the people she had failed to save.

These days she looks like a wiry woman with black hair, purple eyes, too many cheap rings, and no scars at all. She picks up whatever weapon is handy. Keepsakes would just give her something else to lose.

She has tried settling down. The dead kept calling. Now she drifts through ports looking for work and pretending she isn't following rumors of another survivor. Her old city, Bilith-Vel, is under the sea. The faith of Acavna is nearly gone. She still makes room for both. Give her an impossible survivor, a misremembered name, or a ghost nobody has bothered to hear. She'll act bored while making it her problem.
