Submitted character story

Defining moment:
Murnald had made an uneasy peace with the Executor, the shadowy entity that addresses him from the Ledger his business partner gave him over a year ago. 'It will help you' his business partner said. In the intervening months, the Executor's whispers grew grew more insistent any time it sensed death nearby, asking Murnald to put coins on the dead creature's eyes. Murnald had refused for a very long time, but the incessant whispering was maddening and finally, one day, through a fog of shock from the fight he'd witnessed and mingled grief for the guards who had defending his kin and his friends, he complied... and power rushed into him. He had accepted the Executor's burden fully.

Archetype: You're the The Balancekeeper's Toll. Power accepted is different than power seized, and the Ledger knows both.
