Her friends were killed after accidentally releasing it, while Mavis survived after the creature seized her and marked her as its messenger. The encounter awakened or intensified abilities she never fully understood, including prophetic visions through the connection with spirits unable to move on after death and a growing connection to her role as an oracle. She now is quite literally haunted by the ghosts of her 3  friends and is trying to continue the journey of being a “watcher” (demon hunters in her home town) that her and her friends had initially set out to be. Her still being unsure if the entity her and her friends released has other intentions or plans for her.\n\nArchetype: You're the The Marked Chorus.
