Marcel

Genasi / Paladin

Submitted character story

You are the Bold Hero, standing first because you remember what happens when you hesitate. The fire and screams didn't just change you; they carved the shape of every promise you made afterward. You carry the weight of knowing protection and violence are the same motion, just aimed in different directions. Your table will remember the paladin who turned betrayal into an oath that never flinched.

Defining moment: Fire. Screams. Laughter.

Sounds he will never forget. The night that his entire world finally came into view and was quickly quieted. He had started his journey with noble intentions; to leave his home and forge his own path. But the people he chose to journey alongside were not his friends. They used him for his strength, poisoned his mind, and made him raze everything to the ground.

He made a pledge; to never let harm come to those he cares about again. He would be the wall that wouldn't break, the shield that would take every hit, the spear that drove its tip into its enemies before they had a chance to see it coming.

And he knew the first person that would feel its sting...

Never breaks first
