Mal Ataese

Dhampir / Paladin

Submitted character story

You are the Shadow Investigator who watches power like someone who knows exactly how it corrupts. The moment you woke changed in that sewer remade your oath into something sharper and more dangerous. You carry the hunger in your blood and the certainty that you became the thing you hunt. Your table will remember the paladin who protects people from the throne, not for it.

Defining moment: The night I, a young knight, refused an unjust order from my liege lord, only to discover my liege lord was a vampire. He tried to kill me, to turn me... He wasn't completely successful. I was changed. I woke in a sewer, left for dead, and now a Dhamphir, I swore an oath to protect the people from corrupt rulers.
