Lovyriel

Downcast celestial / Cleric

Submitted character story

You are the Shadow Investigator, the cleric who waits in doorways and watches before striking. What brought you back was the sudden weight of mortality, the knowledge that time would end. You carry the exhaustion of eternal vigilance, the knowledge that every shield raised is another moment you cannot rest. Tables will remember you as the one who never flinched, who stood longest when the light went out.

Defining moment: The Fall, the death of all four mighty gods of Etharis, after madness took them. Cast out of home, stripped of immortality. Suddenly time had new meaning, was finite, was felt. She and her brethren were scattered, vulnerable, purposeless. The world was a cold cage now.
