Defining moment: They said everything was gone, that the horde struck without warning, that it was death to follow.  I followed, some joined me, I kept following, I harried their rear, and when they responded I disappeared. More joined, and I kept following until they turned, they turned to follow me.  I vanished.  They tired, gave up the chase, returned to pillaging.  I followed again and crushed their supplies, their spoils I ruined, and in their rage they charged after me yet again and I lead them into the valley, into the swamps, and into the storms.  They starved, they died, fell ill and many were lost.  Then allies had finally assembled and I watched as they defeated the horde.  That's when I began building my kingdom.
