By the time they reached the core room, legion was the only unit still standing. Upon aqquiring the artifact it activated in a flash of light. Legion fell to the ground and woke up, now aware, no longer a mindless machine. Caught up in confusion as they were now alive for the first time they fled the temple, not knowing the artifact had embedded itself into their chest. After hours of running legion collapsed in a forest and layed there for centuries until a party of adventurers had stumbled across them and restored them to concious state.
