Every moment they were stagnant felt like their demons were closing in. Staying in one place made him nauseous, uncomfortable, always on the move as a result. With a violin, basic supplies, and a cloak to conceal the flashier aspects of their appearance, Killian Yenth stepped outside for the first time at the age of eight, and promised himself to never be trapped again.

No stable home. No honest friends. Just a tiefling and his music, busking for copper pieces and keeping his distance… Perhaps one day they’ll learn to make connections, but not today… not today.
