"story": "Keeper is the piece of the mind that keeps debts. Those owed to you, to others, from the world, or from people. Every debt owed, promise made, vow whispered, or vengeance declared. His ledger is full and always waiting for its next entry. Keeper is also the piece that holds back, that stops from going too far, that remembers past debts, especially those unpaid, and weighs whether new promises can be granted.\n\nWhen Eldest's mind shattered, Keeper had been following Promise, then out of nowhere they vanished, or maybe Keeper did, he couldn't remember. He'd been doing something, but the memory was gone. Tugging at the bonds, he realized those between his brothers and sisters had gone hollow, an ache in his soul that matched the ache left by the missing memories. Reaching to check his ledger, he found that the gaps matched with places now empty in his ledger where debts should be. Feeling a tugging at one of those hollowed bonds, feeling promises being made, vows being bound, he set out in search. He'd need to keep track, find them before too many debts went unrecorded."
