At sixteen, Keagan left Dawnsreach for the Temple of the Eternal Dawn in Cresshaven, dedicating himself to rigorous study and unyielding discipline. His natural charisma and insight grew alongside his martial prowess, but his heart hardened with every story of cruelty and corruption he encountered.

Keagan’s closest companion was Rowan, a brave squire who fought by his side until a brutal raid on the Sanctuary’s borders. Rowan sacrificed himself to save Keagan, charging him with a final promise: “Show the wicked no mercy… protect those who cannot protect themselves.”

Rowan’s silver locket remains Keagan’s most cherished possession, a reminder of the cost of mercy denied to evildoers and the vow Keagan carries to bring justice swiftly and decisively.

Keagan’s faith and resolve were forged in the fires of war when the Blackthorn Wastes were overrun by fiends and monstrous armies. Leading a small band of warriors, Keagan confronted atrocities that demanded more than mercy. He witnessed towns razed and innocents slaughtered, and swore to punish those responsible with relentless fury.

The experience deepened his conviction: evil must be hunted down and destroyed without hesitation or mercy.

Embracing the Oath of Vengeance, Keagan vowed to be the sword of retribution. His pilgrimage to Skyspire in the Stormfall Mountains tested his body and spirit, awakening divine lightning that now crackles along his warhammer—an omen of the storm he calls down on evildoers.
