Tiefling / Rogue

Submitted character story
You're the kind of rogue who walks the Blackfen and still keeps the coin purse stocked for strangers. What brought you back was the moment you chose theft over obedience, throwing gold at a brother who'd never understand. You still glance over your shoulder, knowing the kingdom you fled will want its reckoning. At every table, they'll remember the tiefling who made rebellion look like mercy.
Defining moment: I had fought many times over with my father, the King. He considered me the lowliest of persons in his kingdom, not even as good as his staff or the commoners that pay him. I'd taken his words of feebleness to my benefit and sneaked around the castle, studying, listening, eavesdropping on conversations, meetings, and the talk between my father the King and my brother the Captain of the King's guards. Sneaking out one night, I get caught by my brother who had been trailing me most of the night. I'd taken some of the gold from the King's coffers and was going to help one of the commoner's out when it was their turn to pay the King's tithes. My brother cornered me, I took the coins out and threw them at him giving me the chance to run. I straddled my horse and left the kingdom. I fear that my father and brother are hot on my trail. What will they do to me when they catch me?
Can't stop helping the common folk. No one is a stranger.
