"story": "You're a patient survivor, the kind who rode Old Yost's Cart and learned that arrival matters more than speed. What carried you back wasn't vengeance but the weight of those clear winter stars, that flock of descending arrows. You move through the world collecting scars and strategies, always three steps ahead because you can never afford to be caught again. Your table will remember the ranger who turned grief into an art form, who never carries a torch.\n\nDefining moment: On a quiet winter night a few years ago, Jentrana was on watch while her military company slept. She was young, inexperienced, and made the mistake of carrying a lit torch as she walked out further to stretch her legs. The crossbow bolt was embedded just under her clavicle before she had time to register that she was under attack. She stumbled back with a shocked gasp and looked up to a clear winter night sky filled with arrows like a flock of birds descending on her sleeping company. She screamed, scrambling to turn and run back towards them, to wake them, to warn them, but there was nothing she could do. An arrow struck her in the back as she ran and she stumbled, whipping around as a Maolar orc barreled towards her with an ax and brought it down on her. She managed to deflect the blow enough to survive, but not enough to keep the blade from slicing through skin and muscle from one shoulder to the opposite hip. Jentrana screamed out and fought back, managing to take down three orcs and accumulate a mess of injuries as she fought to get back to her company (her loved ones, Rudan, Siolna, no no no-) before two hatchets slammed into her side and threw her to the ground, skidding to a stop in the snow, hazily looking on as her lovers were felled before her, their blood pooling hot on the crisp, white snow…\n\nRunning from something"
