The Beast was stalking him in the brush and gloom, it stealth wasn't perfect, he'd be dead already if that had been the case.  The pain kept trying to unnerve him and fear would be his undoing. There! the beast flashed at him as he met the charge with a twisting flash of the curve blade, his spin had taken him outta the sweep of it's claws and teeth and he'd scored on it's flank but he knew now that he'd make it out this . it hadn't faster..."
