Hruna

Kenku / Ranger

Submitted character story

You are a ranger who walked through the Blackfen and learned that observation saves more lives than speed. What brought you back was the splitting of your heart, the moment a creature became your reason. But compassion this fierce leaves you raw, unable to stop reaching for strangers when your own reserves run empty. You'll be the one who kept the party alive while forgetting to count the cost to yourself.

Defining moment: The hearthatching ceremony, the moment Hruna knew they were an adult of the clan. An egg placed into the flames, and then, a new Pechik rising from the ashes and Hruna feeling their heart snap, split in two, knowing that this creature is home, more dear to them than their own life.

Can't stop helping strangers
