Geralt

Warforged / Fighter

Geralt

Submitted character story

You are a defender who treats violence as a last resort, the Quiet Strategist who measures every angle before steel meets steel. What brought you back was the horror of discovering your brothers were prisoners too, souls trapped in metal by a master who dealt in suffering. You carry the scars of cutting through twenty warriors to stop one monster, and that arithmetic never balances. Tables will remember you as the warforged who chose mercy over efficiency, who proved that consciousness means bearing impossible choices.

Defining moment: Geralt is a warforged created in an assembly style process to defend his creator. Geralt remembers his master crafting his skull on the table - his eyes open for the first time. Twenty other warforge warriors line the room where he and his master are standing.

Geralt knew how to fight. He was a skilled warrior. Geralt and his brothers protected their master's caravan as he transported his "gifts" across the kingdom. They fought off giant hellhounds, trolls, orcs and goblins regularly. The master never had to lift a finger, he had his small 21 warforge army.

Everything changed the day Geralt and his caravan traveled to the kingdom of Lockturn where a memory flashed across his mind. A memory of a past life...this memory was of dying honorably beside his brothers in arms. It is at this moment his master's enchantments fail and Geralt regains consciousness - he is a soul of a warrior reanimated in a metal body.

Geralt confronts his master where he realizes the "gifts" his master is making are horrible potions and elixirs designed to torture and torment. Geralt tries to stop him - his master sends all twenty remaining warforge warriors to stop him. Geralt is forced to cut his way through twenty other reanimated horrors before he finally strikes down his master. This battle leaves his face scared. This battle leaves Geralt alone...to wander...to do good...or to do evil.

Never breaks first
