Fool is the place in the mind where chaos twists and turns towards a single pursuit, joy. He plays tricks, gives performances, laughs, smiles, dies, and everything in between with joy. Fool searches for that exuberance, that merriment, that fill, always. He is the mask that always smiles, or at least seems to, smiles, laughs, tears of joy, right. Of course they are, they could be nothing else, whether the perverse satisfaction of a fresh kill, to the joy in bringing joy to others, he will dance, he will sing, he will laugh, and he always will.

When Eldest's mind shattered, Fool was in the middle of another prank, then he was somewhere else, and his memory was left behind wherever he'd been, but he felt the bonds with his brothers and sisters go hollow. They settled like an ache in his mind, and he didn't like that. He was joy, this was unnecessary, feeling the ring he held, a piece of the prank he can't remember pulling, tugging at one of those hollows, he tucks it away. Heading off to find joy however he can, and to fix this hollow ache, because he is the Fool, and there are games to be played.
