Ezra

Fire genasi / Ranger

Ezra

Submitted character story

You are a ranger who moves like The Quiet Strategist, watching threats before they see you. What brought you back was the choice to heal instead of kill, recognizing your own wounds in another abandoned creature. You carry scars you earned too young to remember, reminders of every person who tried to shape you into something you refused to become. Your table will remember the player who turned survival into protection, who proved that what hunts beside you matters more than what haunts behind.

Defining moment: Most of the scars on his body, he knows how happend. There are some that he knows who gave them, but he can't recall how... he was way to small to be hit, yet there they are, the scars that remind him who he is not.
He isn't the son his mother wished, nor the son of the man who raised him. He isn't the pawn of the criminal organisation he joined at 17. At least not anymore.
When all goes dark, and when he no longer knows who he is, the forest shows up on his memory. A tall oak tree near the lake he liked the most. He had been there hunting a deer, instead, he found a jaguar. Wounded and left to suffer and die on his own. Attacked and abandoned. He didn't even got a mercy kill, like he didn't deserved it. Ezra approached the jaguar, and recognized him from a weak earlier, when the jaguar had attacked him. Now he was presented a choice -or so he thought-. But he saw himself on the beast, he couldn't kill him, so instead he healed him.
The beast -Sir Miaubert Michard Pawl III- now follows him, they've created a synergic bond, they hunt together and share the meal, they take turns posting watch, and they protect eachother when it matters most.
That beast, that wounded and abandoned animal, is what brings him back from the dark.

Running from something, but warm and protective with those who he trusts -which aren't many-.
