Drow / Crown Paladin

Submitted character story
You are the paladin who understood that order demands a price, and you already made someone else pay it. The King's Road taught you that legitimacy is just another word for survival with paperwork. What brought you back was the memory of your father's neck snapping while you kept your face pleasant for the watchers. You serve the crown now because guilt that sharp needs a sheath, and devotion is the only one that fits. They will remember you as the one who never flinched, and they will never know it's because you already used up all your flinching that day.
Defining moment: Watching their father get hanged for their crimes, a forced smile in the crowd on her face.
