Submitted character story
You are the hero who chose the open road and bold action, the druid who runs toward danger instead of waiting in the wild. What brought you back from the Feywild wasn't just rescue, it was the moment strangers became family without hesitation. But every person you help is an apology to the parents you cannot remember, a debt you pay to ghosts. Your table will remember you as the one who never let anyone be lost alone.
Defining moment: They day Ethelyn was rescued from the feywilds. She had just turned 9 and had been lost inside deep, wild forest for nearly two weeks, slowly losing almost all her memories, barely surviving. She remembers almost being mauled by some horrible beast with the most maddeningly horrifying red eyes she had ever seen, and rows of huge, yellow, razor sharp teeth, she had somehow managed to slip away from the creature, but she had been so terrified she had continued to run for hours after she had escaped, not able to stop until she collapsed on the cold forest floor from pure exhaustion. That was when a traveling couple, taking a risky detour through the edges of the feywilds came across a small girl curled up on the ground, shivering, covered in dirt and twigs. They were shocked, of course, to find a child alone in such a dangerous place. They took her to the nearest town and tried valiantly to find her parents, despite her memory loss, but their efforts ultimately proved unsuccessful. So, after careful consideration, (a hushed, two minute conversation in a corner), they decided to take her in as their own child.
Can't stop helping strangers
