Eng (Enguerrand Thackeray)

Human / Paladin

Submitted character story

Silent paladin of the unwitnessed deed. He wears no heraldry, doesn't speak or sing praises, and claims no act. He's the only paladin of his kind in all the Seven Cities. Because too many are not safe or warm. Eng wants the greatest good, and for people to do good, simply because its right. He sees Franzer Halvess as a possible paragon, if he would stop being so loud. Eng cares about all! If you are even capable of empathy and compassion, he cares about you. If you aren't... he still cares. Eng's a paladin. His business of making the world quietly better is never finished. Eng does not speak. No one knows if he's mute, or simply silent. He speaks in a sign language anyone can interpret, but virtually none can learn or remember. It has, on rare occasion caused misunderstanding.
