Human / Cleric

Elanor Cleary

Submitted character story

You're the hero who investigates before acting, the Shadow Investigator who sees what others miss in the margins. What brought you back was the basket on temple steps, the note with no surname, the decades of waiting that taught you patience. Your distance from people isn't coldness but scar tissue, the price of learning that books answer when voices don't. You'll be the cleric who solves mysteries the party didn't know existed, quiet until the moment demands otherwise.

Defining moment: It was the day she asked where her parents are shortly after turning four years old. They never came for her. The elderly Head Cleric's only proof of her name was a note that was left behind on the basket dropped at the temple steps. No man or woman with the Cleary surname ever inquired Elanor's existence. So there she stayed as a ward of the clergy, with nothing else but her lessons and tea to look forward to for almost three decades.

Learned but emotionally distant due to spending more time with books, tea and meditation than people.
