"story": "Eevie remembered nothing before the age of 9. Her earliest memory at 9 was falling into the Feywild with dreams of a raven deity called The Lightbringer and a card. Upon the card were the words \"You are E.V. You are a part of the Witchlight Carnival.\" \n\n For 14 years she's been raised under the tents of the Witchlight Carnival working as a Witchlight Hand. In the carnival Eevie cares for the animals, helps clean up, helps performers apply their makeup before shows, and performs healing as necessary. \n She hasn't really found any answers to her questions of where she came from and the memories she lost. But at the WL Carnival she did find a family of sorts with the performers and other workers of the Carnival. \n\n Eevie is a follower of Raven the Trickster, an old god she learned about from a traveler and disciple who visited the WL Carnival and stayed for a short spell. The tenets of Raven resonated with her and she learned all she could from the traveler before he moved on. \n\n Now that Eevie has retrieved a mantle of her God, Raven, from the Black Tree of Ravens in Prismeer she believes Raven has named and recognized her as a disciple and cleric. And now, more than ever, she knows she’s on the right path and where she’s meant to be, to help everyone in the group of travelers she’s with. \n\n She first heard of Raven from a visitor at the Witchlight Carnival 8 years ago, who told her he was a Traveler who wanders both the physical and spiritual realms. He told her that disciples of Raven often travel between the spirit world and the physical world and all realms, dimensions, and places in between. Those who master the gifts of Raven can change form to become human, spirit, animal, or even objects or artifacts. When asked his name, he simply told her “I am Raven, those who follow and travel are all Raven.” \n\n He told her of Raven, the trickster God, the Lightbringer who helped the first people survive as they emerged into a world of darkness. The story of Raven begins at the beginning of Creation, one of the old Gods, one of the first Gods, who discovered the First People hiding from beneath a giant clam shell. Raven leads them out into the world to behold its wonders. And to help the First People, they tricked the other Gods, especially those selfish and greedy in order to help The First People. \n\n Raven is a divine symbol of creation, knowledge, transformation, and prestige, as well as a living reminder of the complexity found in nature and the subtleties found in truth. They personify the unknown and is a reminder that every person sees the world differently. Raven is a healer and a keeper of secrets, and need not be feared unless they are abused, mislead, or harmed, especially by those who cannot see beyond their own greed or needs. \n\n One of Raven’s signature stories after the discovery of The First People was the theft of the sun which was hidden in a locked box, a valuable bauble of a greedy and selfish Elder God. Raven tricked the Elder God and stole the sun from its box, its white feathers turning black as the ash from the heat of the sun burned everything around it. Raven flew to the land of the First People and cast the sun into the sky for The People to experience and enjoy and for the rays of sunlight to warm and illuminate the landscape and provide life to the land. \n\n Clerics of the Raven are Scouts to The People in times of war. They are also seekers of justice who use their guile to trick or steal back what has been taken from The People who earn Raven’s favor or who have its protection. To Raven’s allies, they are protectors who will do what is necessary to keep their devotees and those under their protection alive. They are opportunists who will use guile and trickery to exploit situations to their favor when and should the need arise. They will take from the greedy and selfish and give to those who need to survive. \n\n So Zybilna, the patron of the Witchlight Carnival, who went missing at the opening of the module “The Wild Beyond the Witchlight” turned out to be Eevie’s Aunt, and she was placed in the Carnival without her memories by her mother to protect her from Zybilna’s and her mother’s enemies. \n\n Currently she and her party are working jobs for Candlekeep across the planes. \n\nAt the end of the campaign she was a level 19 Trickster Cleric and level 1 Wizard dual class."
