You are the protector who finally found a reason to protect yourself. The Blackfen tested your resilience the way it tests everything, with rot and patience and the promise that survival alone is never enough. What brought you back was the simple cruelty of learning you are mortal, that your body can betray you the way nothing else has. You have given so much of yourself away that when the Iron Matron came, strategy felt safer than honesty, calculation easier than vulnerability. They will remember you as the one who stood between the party and the dark, who never broke, and who paid for that strength in ways they will never fully see.

Defining moment: Finding about the disease that will kill him if he can't find a cure.

Duviri is a soft-hearted protector wrapped in hard-earned resilience. He’s loyal, self-sacrificing, and dependable to a fault—but underneath that is a man who’s suppressed his own wants for so long that he’s only now beginning to understand them.
