"story": "Defining moment:\nDelphine Ashwell was born and raised in Alderburne, a small village tucked into the southern woods of Abraria. She is known for her sharp mind and sometimes erratic behaviors, often more interested in reading the stars than the bustle of town. From a young age, Delphine had a knack for spotting patterns–in the constellations, in the way her morning tea settled, and in the omens whispered through the winds. \n\n\tHer mother, Ophelia Morwen, raised her alone in a small, book-filled house on the edge of the village. Ophelia provided for Delphine as best she could, trading herbs and tinctures for necessities, but was never one for displays of affection. Their relationship was cordial, if a little distant–Ophelia encouraging her daughter’s curiosity while quietly keeping her own griefs and burdens tucked away. Delphine often felt closer to the weathered tomes on their shelves than to the woman who kept them, yet there was an unspoken care between them. \n\n\tLucinda had been Delphine’s closest friend since childhood–kind, warm, and steady in a way that grounded Delphine. They learned together, grew together, and by early adulthood had married. Their ivy-covered cottage on the town’s edge became a place where neighbors came for help, with Delphine offering readings and advice and Lucinda preparing herbal remedies and mixtures. Her garden, rich with wildflowers, lavender, and rosemary carried her warmth through their homestead. \n\n\tOne night, Delphine awoke from a vision that left her shaking; Lucinda, pale and fading. Delphine had no doubt what it meant. Fate gave her a warning. From that moment on, she became consumed with stopping it. \n\nShe scoured every tome she could acquire, brewed protective charms, arranged wards around their home, and collected rare ingredients in the hopes of curing an illness that hadn’t even begun yet.\n\nDespite her best efforts, the first symptoms appeared within weeks. Lucinda began losing her strength, and her magic faltered. Her health soon followed. The mysterious illness defied every remedy they tried. No potion, poultice, or enchantment had any lasting effect. Delphine worked tirelessly, desperate to derail the vision, but the decline was relentless. \n\nWhen the moment came, it unfolded as Delphine had foreseen. Lucinda died in her arms one quiet evening, the wards Delphine had raised humming uselessly in the background. The scent of rosemary clung to their clothes long after the room fell silent. \n\nAfter the burial, grief hollowed Delphine. Kneeling beside Lucinda’s grave, she resolved to follow her into death. But as she clutched her dagger, another vision struck. This one was fragmented–words rushed past her whispered in Lucinda’s voice, scraps of paper in her handwriting, bright flashes of color swallowed by darkness and then a face she didn’t recognize. This vision was cryptic, tangled in symbols she couldn’t yet decipher, yet something about it called her to stay. \n\nNow, only a few months later, Delphine moves through her days with the weight of that vision pressing against the edge of her thoughts. The cottage feels hollow without Lucinda’s laughter, the garden untended and overgrown. At night, she dreams in fragments–half-formed whispers, glimpses of unfamiliar faces, and the lingering scent of rosemary.\n\n\nArchetype: You're the The Seer Who Stayed. She reads fate's cruelest truths and refuses to look away from them.\n\nPersonality: Already paid the price"
